Welcome to my Boston Bruins hockey blog!

As a long time hockey fan and prospective hockey journalist, when I was asked to create a niche blog for one of my college courses, I knew exactly what I would write about. This blog will focus on the Boston Bruins, with each week’s article having a special theme! Each article will also include weekly game recaps!

My name is Corrighan, and I’m a 20-year-old Communications (Digital Media) and English (Professional Writing) double major with a minor in Criminal Justice. After college, I hope to get my master’s in journalism and enter the world of hockey journalism. My favorite team is the Boston Bruins, clearly, although I am quite fond of the San Jose Sharks.

My ‘credibility’ comes from years of being both a deeply passionate hockey fan and a figure skater. I began skating at the age of two, and although I am no longer as active in the sport, I was surrounded by hockey players for the better part of a decade. I’m interested in many other sports – Formula One, NASCAR, baseball, football – but hockey is my thing. I absolutely love hockey, from the NHL to PWHL to AHL to juniors to international. If there’s a hockey game to watch, I’ll be watching.
